This Poor Dog Was Dumped to Die With Broken Leg!

Sweet Angela was dumped and left alone to die with a horrible skin condition and a broken leg. Looking for help, she made her way to a church where she waited for two weeks before help came.

A call came to In Defense of Animals' Hope Animal Sanctuary from an independent rescue and we were more than happy to be of assistance . How could we look into her pleading brown eyes and yet somehow manage to say no?

A visit to our veterinarian told the story of a dog with an old injury to her leg. The painful break is between her knee and her ankle. Unable to bear weight on her leg, she managed as best she could on three legs while in her weakened state from lack of food. Angela also has mange and a skin yeast infection, both of which are very uncomfortable for her.

Angela has a long rehabilitation in front of her, but we are committed to helping her regain her health and to finding guardians who will care for her as her original "guardians" should have.
