Activists Parade through San Francisco for Fur Ban Victory!
We recently joined with other San Francisco Bay Area activists to welcome and celebrate a landmark victory for animals. San Francisco just became the world's first major city to ban sales of fur. Stores in San Francisco will no longer be able to sell fur starting in 2019.
Hundreds of activists turned out to celebrate the occasion and cheered as In Defense of Animals’ Fleur Dawes issued a rallying cry to pass fur bans in every major city in the world.
Jubilant chants of the invigorated activists rang out through the city as they marched through the streets of San Francisco to celebrate the ban with a victory parade.
