Activists Recharge at Vegan Spirituality Retreat

Activists who attended our 6th Annual Vegan Spirituality Retreat in Philly enjoyed yoga, Qi Gong, meditation, a nature walk, vegan lunch, and an animal blessing! Special thanks to our featured speaker Victoria Moran, author of “Main Street Vegan” and “The Good Karma Diet” for describing her unique view of Ahimsa, also known as dynamic harmlessness. Experience part of the retreat yourself by listening to the replay of Victoria Moran’s presentation, “Adventures, Ahimsa, and the Good Karma Life.”

Here’s what some participants said about their retreat experience:

“Just what I needed to recharge the ole battery!”

“I’m so grateful for the meaningful, peaceful and inspiring time we all had together. It was great to connect, reconnect, and energize!”

“The yoga and Qi Gong instructors brought much needed calm and peace amid the beautiful scenery and welcome breezes under the trees.”

“The retreat united everyone with a boost of love, energy, and hope from fellow compassionate individuals.”

“Everything was gratifying, especially the featured guest speaker Victoria Moran, who was brilliant and inspiring!”

“I feel a renewed sense of hope! So refreshing to meet all of these kind souls.”

“The best part of the day was seeing the dog participants in the animal blessing: Irie, Jewel, and Boo!! They reminded us why we must be the voices and protectors of our friends and co-inhabitants, the animals.”

We hope you can join us for future Vegan Spirituality Retreats and other Sustainable Activism events, offering emotional and spiritual support for animal activists. See what we’re up to next here.
